Cooking Classes

Cooking classes at the Black Tie Company, Portland, MEBlack Tie Cooks

Black Tie Cooks offers hands-on and demonstration cooking classes in a professional kitchen, taught by our talented chefs, bakers and guest teachers. The classes range from South American cuisine to New Orleans favorites, pasta making and Thai soup, noodles and tea. Classes are intimate and have a maximum of 12 and a minimum of 6 students, typically 6:00pm to 9:00pm at The Union Kitchen, Portland, ME. Prices begin at $90 per person and advance registration and pre-payment are required. Classes include a combination of demonstration and hands-on teaching, food sampling, and beverages. Recipes of the items prepared in the class are provided to participants.

These classes fill quickly, so let us know if there's a cuisine you're particularly interested in and we may be able to add an additional class (surcharge added if minimum of 12 guests is not met).
